I am the webmaster for www.bassworld.co.uk.
I am looking for a module that would enable users to upload and search music tabs/sheet music.

Has anyone got any ideas?

Whats wrong with the downloads module?

I currently have the uploads /downloads on the site. I wonder how I could get another module that would be suitable for the job. I would really like one where people could upload to one folder and search and download with ease.
The sorta thing I am after is currently up at http://www.basstabarchive.com/index/
If I used the downloads how would I use it? :?

There is a module called MusicShare at http://www.haebler.ch that might do the job.

You're welcome. I often search and mods.postnuke.com and google.com for module requests. I make it a hobby to find and collect modules people are looking for.

HI Everyone,
I have tried in vain to get this module to work, There are no install docs either. What a pain I was really hoping that this module would work :(
I copied the files over and activated the module. Then called it up as the name [musicshare]. All i get is either a BLANK SCREEN or

Warning: Failed opening 'modules/musicshare/index.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/psa/apache/lib/php') in /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/bassworld.co.uk/httpdocs/modules.php on line 16

If anyone knows how else to install it please let me know!!

I couldnt even figure out how to download it, my german is a bit rusty/non-existent but i just seemed to click myself in circles.. i would be interested in getting this ap running also.

this is a fantastic mod...

i got it installed and working.. but the mp3 file upload is not working..

No authorisation to carry out operation (musiccreate)

I have tried a few combinations of upload folder locations and references, no luck with that though, keep getting this error.

Have posted on the author website, perhaps he can help with this error.

Yeah I have it working now. I just cant seem to work out where to put the uploads folder.

Still, Nearly there!

if we can work out where to put the uploads folder and how to reference that in the settings for musicshare then we will have it sorted :)
