Hi , I run a post nuke installation site and lately I've been getting complaints from registered users about random logouts. I mean, they are members, select the "remember me" check box, and often when they return to my site, their username / password is not remembered and they have to re-enter it. Also, some tell me they will be logged in, and posting to my forum (xforum) and as the post is submitted they get logged out and the post isn't submitted.

My question is, is this a know issue? Is this a client-side issue. Because this never happens to me and many other, but also happens to many others. So it affects some users some of the time but not all the users all the time. I've failed to be able to figure this out, so I'm trying to see if anybody else has/ had has this problem?

I think this is a security issue for some sites - not technically in the sense of PHP mysql but just that people leave trheir desk unattended and should have the option of admin logging them out automatically in the site settings.
