Problems with new Modules
 Top

  • I recently installed Fictioneer(i know this is not the place to ask) and i could not work it, I already go to their forum and still waiting for an answer.
I would have dismissed it off as Fictioneer's own module problem until I tried to install another Module: Imagery.

Both could not work. All other modules I have installed, they work.
What I notice about this two modules is that they both keep their admin files in:
    >modulename
    >admin
    >>case
    >>links
    >>modules

The other successful modules I have installed have their admin files in:
    pnadmin.php.
What is the problem? This is the first time i am using PostNuke, BTW.
    I am using v0.723.
Thanks if you could help me.
  • I am unfamiliar with the module 'imagery', but I know that Fictioneer is designed to work with PN .713/4. There are rumors that it can be made to work on PN .723 through use of the Pastnuke module, but I have yet to get it to work. Basically, I'd guess that both modules you're trying to install are 'old' and not pnAPI compliant, which is why they're not working on your .723 system.
