Hello, how do I change the "Create an Account" at the top of the website to say something else and link to something else?

In that matter, how do I change (hack, mod, or otherwise) it so that people can't create an account; I must make one for them?

Hidalgo, based on what you posted above, maybe what might accomplish what you want (not letting people create accounts) is to disable new user registrations, then delete the registration block all together and replace it with an HTML block or some other block that simply says, "Certain content is limited to registered members... if you would like to apply for membership, please click here [where "Here" is a link to an application form or an email address]" (or whatever blurb is appropriate to your particular situation) I think that there are some scenarios where this would not fit... perhaps you're in an intranet environment... if this doesn't work, post back and we'll figure something else out.

Well, my PostNuke site is about an online video gaming clan, and I want it so that you cannot register: the admin (me) makes your account, and you only have an account if you are a member of the clan.

How would I disable new registration (in the modules list, it was already uninitialised) and change the "Create a New account?" Would I just edit a .php file in my directory? If so, which one?
