I have a problem with the (left or right) side blocks where if there is an especially long word or string of digits it expands the block to include it all in one line and messes up the format of the whole site.
For example I had a newsfeed block that listed recently updated blogs. There would always be some stupid site on it named something like supercaliantidisestablishmentrians. So PostNuke will stretch out the sideblock to display that full word on one line which would make the right side block really large and both the left and middle squeezed small. (I had to remove the block, but my site is www.bigpicnic.com if that helps)
:?: Is this inherent to PostNuke, or is it my theme?
:?: Is there any easy way to fix it so that long words are borken in half if necessary to fit in the pre-determined size of the blocl?
:?: If no, is there an easy work around (ie anupdated blog feed that only accets short names?)
Thanks. -

what theme are you using?
We have seen something similar happen with the ISSHO theme
http://ww.issho.org/
As that theme is very similar to the PostNuke theme, one assumes
that this affects a lot of people.
I think it is something that needs to be cured by a revision of
the code in rss.php and rss2.php.

Well, I use a modified version of this theme: http://themes.postnu…ead&order=0&thold=0 but you can check it out yourself at my site, http://www.bigpicnic.com/ . Looking at your site too, I can see how you'd have the same problem.
:? So, what to do, what to do? -
