Fork me on GitHub

Oh man did I do it this time...  Bottom

  • Well, I got a little ambitious and failed to pay attention to my inexperience... I installed a theme that, apparently, wasn't working all that great. None of the graphics showed up, so I figured I go switch back to my previous theme. Well, this is what I get when I try:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: sql_query() in /home/amynaonline.org/html/pn/themes/VBlue/theme.php on line 130

So how do I recover? Is there a file I can manually edit to specify the theme?

Thanks for putting up with me...
    • [*:c81e11c494]Go to your themes folder.
    • [*:c81e11c494] Rename the folder 'VBlue' to something like 'VBlue_dead'
    • [*:c81e11c494] Copy the folder of a theme that you know works correctly - preferably a postnuke default theme like PostNukeBlue.
    • [*:c81e11c494] Paste that copy in the themes folder and rename the folder 'RecoveryTheme'.
    • [*:c81e11c494] Copy the 'RecoveryTheme' folder, and again paste that folder in the themes folder.
    • [*:c81e11c494] Rename 'copy of RecoveryTheme' to 'VBlue'.
    • [*:c81e11c494] Test the site to see if it works
    • [*:c81e11c494] If everything's fine, go back and delete the folder 'VBlue_dead'.
    • [*:c81e11c494] Leave the 'RecoveryTheme' folder for the next time you need to make a recovery
  • Worked great... thanks a lot for the help.

I will definitely keep that folder there for the future.
  • Trick o' the trade dooooood
