Hi,
I have Mediashare installed and use this for simple photo collections. The uploading of jpg pictures takes a very long time.
Sometimes "forever" and sometimes just very long before the page comes where you can edit the caption(s).
I have no idea why it takes this long. Does anybody have/had a similar experience and know what to check/fix to make this more fast?
BTW I'm using the current version on github from Carsten.

I also installed MediaAttach to see how that works out and there the uploading is fine. But of course the module is a bit different in goal than Mediashare.
Cant wait for the new repository for zk13

I have the same problem, however uploading two by two (or even one by one) photo is faster than doing them all 10 in one shot.
Also, one thing I have noticed, this problem only occur if mysql version is 5.0x or earlier, 5.1x and 5.5 were fine but this need more tests to confirm the relation -

Hi, thanks for the response.
I have mysql 5.1.48, so not sure then about the mysql version. And testing with local installs has always been a little
hard (at least on the mac). I might use MediaAttach in the mean time, since it is sometimes so slow that it is very unhandy.
