Ok - I have a fresh install of 1.2.8 running. I also uploaded and turned on manually the pnpphpbb module (I know this will be outdated per some other conversations on here once Zik is updated but I have an existing board is the reason).
So I have an existing phpbb board that was stand alone (neither Zik nor PostNuke) - it has over a year of activity on it and I dont want to lose it. I would like to convert it to run inside the pnphpbb module as it is basically the same board just embedded.
Any ideas how this can be done?

Converting phpbb stand alone to pnphpbb 1.2i in Zikula

There is a conversion script included in the module, but this is not working any more in Zikula > 1.1. However, there is still a path to get it done. Keep what you have, and install in a sub directory the old Postnuke, e.g. from http://zikula.at/archiv/PostNuke-0.800-RC3-FULL.tar.gz , and run the PNphpBB2 installer there. It includes an option to convert your standalone phpbb to PNphpBB2. After done, move the *_pnphpbb module tables into your new Zikula install.
