How do I go about hiding the list of registered users from the user accounts. I have a site where logged-in users don't really need to see the list of registered users. I've looked every where but can't find a setting that does this. Or, have I missed it?
Site runs on Zikula 1.2.8
Thanks for any help.
Marc

Thanks for the tips Guite. It worked! I use the .* syntax rather than the :: I am not sure if there is a difference or if the Zikula devs would rather we (users) use the :: syntax instead.
As I am using the "Permissions rules manager" module that comes with Zikula here is what others who are looking for the same on their sites should put:
Group: Users
Component: Profile: Members:
Instance: .* (you can also use :: instead of .* They both do the same ... unless I am corrected by anyone else.)
Permission Level: No access
NOTE that the spelling with uppercase or lowercase is important!
MY OPINION: As a user, and I know this has been said before, I find the "Permission rules manager" very "user-unfriendly". I know that it is a powerful tool because I use it on all my sites, but the fact remains that a user, whether new or seasoned, will always have problems understanding its use and require help from the support forums OR they will just ignore that module completely. This is not to say that I don't use it. I do use it and it is a wonderful module.
Cheers,

My opinion: compared to other systems, the permissions-manager is very powerful and I use it a lot, for all modules. But to be honest, I've had to dig in the PHP-code some times already to figure out how to enter a permission.
The thing that annoys me most is the fact you can't insert a permissions-rule, only append one. This means shifting permissions up and down a lot.
Also, the second column (Component) could easily become a drop-down list with possible scheme's (though I know there's one of two modules which didn't put the correct scheme's in the pnversion.php).
A helpful addition would be some examples per component (after choosing a component, a help-button could show up at the end of a permissions-line which pops up a info-window). -

This would take away possibilities to use custom components for individual purposes.
During the last few years several nice enhancement suggestions have been collected in some Cozi core project ticket tracker. No idea whether or when they are migrated to Github though.
