New password for config.php  Bottom

  • What is the best way to change the password used for your mySQL in config.php for an established Zikula website?
  • Change the password in MySQL (e.g. via phpMyAdmin), set password encoding to "0" and put the new password there in config.php.

  • Oops! I spoke too soon!

Where do I find the password? Is it in a particular table?
Also, when I change password in phpAdmin with "0" encoding, does it encode it automatically? I need to put an encoded password in config.php.

Would it be a good idea to create a utility that would allow a Zikula site maintainer the option of changing the "DB username" and "DB password"?
