  Ok i've installed 1.3 but very quickly found a error when i went into my admin panel of the zikula site and tried changing the theme:

  And now it just generally appears on every page i visit of the site by using a URL instead

  Hi, do you have additional modules installed or only the basic modules for the Core to run.
  I do not recognize the error actually.

  I didn't add any modules to it yet since quite a few are incompatible to my knowledge. The most frequent time it had happened(since i'd given up and downgraded) was either after i added my custom theme or tried to change it. After that it caused zikula to crash never to run again giving the error i'd put in the OP of this topic or one very similar. So i've ended up just going back to 1.2.8
  
  So yes only core modules are installed, if need be i can reset 1.3 up on a subdomain and test solutions there before i truly upgrade. I've not understood why it may crash for good like that did.
  
  I will try to have it listed at m46sg.tk (same as the .co.cc just not blocked by alot of anti-virus stuff) under a sub-domain called onethree.m46sg.tk which should be set up and see if it occurs again but i will back up everything first because i fear of a error i encountered once before when i had 1.3 set up on a sub-domain as i did on a previous host with a patch that would force it to run even though i'd not had PHP 5.3(thanks to mhalbrook)
  
  Any solutions to the problem listed above would be appreciated

  Please try the latest build of 1.3.1 as this has been running very stable for a few months now. Also ensure that you don't use the config/config.php from an 1.2.x installation as there have been several new properties added to this file in 1.3.x.

  So i'll have to completely remove every piece of zikula i have installed already?
