hello i am upgrading news module to the last versión 2.6.2 in zikula 1.2.8 and i have a problem. I can to send news but when i try to modify them directly in the [edit] link that apperar in the new i get this error: Error! No such article found. If i modify the new in the admin panel it works fine... maybe it is a shorturl error.
i also have realiced that the permalink already is not automatically generated.
Someone have an idea of how can i to solve the problem?? and get to repair the module to can modify the news directly and the permalink function?

Hi,
this does seem not so much a problem of News directly, but with zikula 1.2.8.
There is a function in News to Purge all permalinks, that will reset all the shorturls of the articles to the configured default.
So you have shortuls mode enabled? What settings in the Zikula setting part?
And what setting for the shorturls within News? You can choose various options in News for the permalink part.

hello, yes i have the shorturls activated. and configured as file.
The other news that i had still have the permalink...that`s only happen when i add a new article. Now the permalink is not created automatically and it is activated. But that is the little of the problems.
the big problem is the message that appears when you try to modify or delete a new directly being into the new.(not into the admin panel)
Maybe the two problems are connected.

I only use directory based shorturls. I dont think there is anything special in zk128 that could cause this.
What version of News were you coming from? And which version of News with which version of Zikula was working ok?
For file based urls you need an htaccess file right?

In real life, i mean not in localhost :))), i have zikula 1.2.8 and news 2.4.1, and permalink dont work...so you are right the problem of the permalink it is by a malfunction of zikula 1.2.8.
In localhots i was trying the last version of news module in zikula 1.2.8 to upload to my server hosting in case that all was ok.
In archive based shorturls i need an .htaccess file. But even when i disactive shorturls the other problem "the new i get this error: Error!" appears too.
