I'm upgrading a site for a client from PostNuke to Zikula. One thing he has on the PN site is a "Featured Article" block, powered by a 3rd party block, how can i best replicate this in ZIkula?

Hi, is the article a News article? Then you could use the "weight" mechanism in News to give a certain article a higher weight than others and use the storiesext (or even stories) block in News. You can select the sorting based upon the weight. So the higher the weight the higher the article will appear. If you select 1 article, you have a single featured article.
I dont know the featured article block in fact, so not sure how it behaves etc.

As I recall, it's a block that just takes the ID of an article to display.

Ah ok, it would be easier to make a new News block then that just displays one article selected by id.

I found some old archives. i-featured-article was a block by MagicX from portalzine.de and choose_headlines was a block from Harry and I. Sounds like you have the former. ;) -

I miss MagicX, he had some pretty cool modules back in the day...
