There is something new!

LuMicuLa is a lightweight markup language editor for Zikula. It's similar to bbcode, but it has some additional features:

Support of different markup languages (bbcode, Creole, Wakka, Wikipedia)

Support of shortcuts (ctr+b)

Support of 3 different code syntax highlighter (geshi, google-code-prettify,syntaxhighlighter)

Fancy editor

Wiki support

Interesting! So will this allow customization of which bbcode options are allowed per module?

Does it make it easier to add custom bbcode options like adding a YouTube button?

Yes and no. There is not interactive way to add buttons, but it's very easy to add buttons in the code.

By the way a Youtube button is already included.

Wow wow wow wow woow cooool one!!
LuMicuLa looks impressive :D

The Media buttons seems like something we need to address somewhere else, now that YouTube has changed the embeded code many times along the years, and well, we're planning some ways to support any media with the new Hooks of 1.3

What version Zikula is it for?
Where do I get it? (don't see a GitHub, Cozi, or extdb listing)

You can find it on github. But please don't forgot it's just an alpha version.

To test it you can use it together with Tasks. This module is already ready for LuMicuLa.

I added lightbox support.

Here are the todo's:

*Improve Wakka support (downgrade compatibility for Wikula)
*Update list tags
*Transform function (Wakka->Creole, ...)
*Just transform activated tags
