I am trying to upgrade my version 1.2.0 and having difficultly getting the upgrade to accept my admin password during the process. I had to restore the original version until I can get some help. I have seen that there have been others with this issue but not under the same circumstances.
I followed the directions but something is not right. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Maybe, change your admin password with something containing only letters, do your upgrade and change it again with a stronger one, once your update is finished.
Just a simple idea. -

if your username has spaces or special cahracters, that might be the issue. try changing it to plaintext no spaces. -

That's not the issue. No spaces or punctuation in the login or password. No capitals in the password or user name. I had tried everything I could think of to get it to work and it would not.
Any other ideas? I will probably try it again in a couple of days but i'm looking for any corrected instructions now.
Thanks -

I've a vague recollection of something to do with PCRE unicode needing to be enabled in PHP - which it is on most modern installations. Are you running on an old PHP installation? Check your phpinfo();
