  It's sad to hear you say that you're venturing to other grounds, but it would be nice if you could tell us:
  
  1) What have you found (system, modules, etc.). ie: which system have you found which does what you need it to do
  2) What features of this system convinced you to switch
  3) Maybe a quick comparison of this system to Zikula. Why is it better? How is it different.
  
  I think such info would be generally appreciated to allow us to better understand our shortcomings.

  This is more about Zikula/Clip not being ready in time for their own projects. We've not heard the last from these guys - but for them, it's about being able to fulfill their work commitments now - not according to our release schedule, which is later than expected.
  
  If we want to get into a comparison with other systems, a new thread would be a good idea.

  I understand. What I'm really interested in their bottom line.
  
  For what it's worth: I've installed Drupal 7 and played around with it for an hour or so. Yes, it looks nice and seems to work well, but quite frankly I don't see anything earth shattering there.
  
  What I'm really interested in their bottom line: is the grass really greener on the other side?
