i just installed a new theme, 'Tech', and it looks really cool, so im deciding ti keep it.

but whenever i switch to this theme, the center never displays any blocks. unless you select a module. for instance, downloads. if u click the downloads link, it shows. but the admin messages doesnt show in the center block.

i tried moving it to the 'right', and when i do that it actually shows.
waht am i doing wrong?

This is what's called a third party theme. They have removed the admin message from the theme it appears.
You can contact the theme creator (contact name should be in the file somewhere?) to ask how to add it back, or take your chances someone here knows what code is needed to make it work again.
I'll move this to third party themes for you.
