permalink errors after upgrade  Bottom

    I had a postnuke 0.764 website that's basically articles+sections+ htmlpages

    I've done the upgrade using the 0.764>1.12 package and it went successfully

    and then I did upgrade to 1.2.4 which went also fine till I put the short URL directory on, none of the article wants to open, it gives the following error

    * Error! The action you wanted to perform was not successful for some reason, maybe because of a problem with what you input. Please check and try again.

    the structure of the URL is built correctly like:
    http://domain.com/News/2010/9/5/article/

    the problem extended also that, any new article can't auto generate permalink, instead it gives the word "array" like this:

    http://domain.com/News/2010/9/5/array


    turning off the short URL fix everything, but what I can do to use the short URL option?

    Any help will much appreciated
