  Hello all,
  
  If you would like to test the newest versions of PostCalendar, I would greatly appreciate your assistance! Version 6.2 and 7.0 will be released simultaneously and have nearly identical feature sets and functionality. Version 6.2 will run on Zikula 1.2.1+ (including 1.3) and version 7.0 requires Zikula 1.3+.
  
  Read the release notes
  Read the 6.2.0 docs or the 7.0.0 docs
  download either
  
  please remember these are release candidates, so bugs should be few! of course, if you find one, please report it in the tracker
  
  new feature requests will be accepted, but will only be integrated into the 7.0.0 branch.

  In general PostCalendar 7.0.0 works already very good. But I will do some more test and then I will give a more detailed report.

  Here the results of my tests with version 7.0.0 RC1:
  
  * The update works fine.
  * The calendar block show me past events instead of upcoming events
  * The detailed event page gives me an JSON error
  

  "Error"

  illegal JSON response: SyntaxError: Badly formed JSON string: ''in

  
  * The xml view works.
  
  It's really nice to see PostCalendar coming up to Zikula 1.3. BTW. here some feature request:
  
  * iCal support
  * Location hock (maybe you can use the already existing location module)
  * Participation option (Like in Facebook)

  please log tickets (bug/feature request) at the project for each issue (separately) please give more details about each if available.
  
  * I cannot duplicate the past events issue or the JSON issue. so would need a lot more info
  
  * The location module is already supported. you have to enable it in the admin config (if the Locations module is active). I just updated the online docs to help make this clearer - thanks for the heads up.
  * There is already a feature request for a participation option, but similar can be accomplished by hooking EZComments to PC.

  Playing with 7.0 on my 1.3 test box. Haven't had a chance to push 6.2 to a site yet.

  PostCalendar 6.2 has been released. PostCalendar 7.0 will remain unreleased until Zikula 1.3 is released.
