I just enabled scribite with News on a 1.2.3 Zikula site.
Now, suddenly, I can't create a new News article. No matter how many paragraphs I put in the textareas I get the error "Error! You did not enter the minimum necessary article content."
Scribite Module Functions are: "new,modify,display"
Scribite Textarea ID's are: "news_hometext,news_bodytext"
The editor of choice is: yui
Anyone got an idea?

Oh, and I TRIED to search for this error? No such luck... the Zikula site apparently won't recognize a search field entry of "NEWS Error! You did not enter the minimum necessary article content." It kept saying I needed to add more than 2 words...?!

Hi, did you try with Xinha as well? That editor is being tested more than the others.
It seems some of the other editors (nicedit and yui apparantly as well) have an issue with converting back the wysiwyg content to the original textareas, which is why News is complaining that there is no content, since it sees no content. You can log a ticket in the news project code.zikula.org/news as well.
It is a combination of scribite and News that gives this problem.

Um, just did... changed the editor over to Xinha and got the following dialog boxes when I clicked on "Submit an article" and before I could even type anything in?!

Should I be worried? Is this just a permissions thing? Do I need to change the settings on another module?
HELP!!!!!

there is a file called 1.htaccess somewhere in the scribite module that needs to be renamed to .htaccess. its in the install docs I think. -

If you are using this extdb version please rename in /scribite/pnincludes/ the file "1.htaccess" to ".htaccess"!
