This is a new install of Zikula 1.2.3, and it's on a development box.
Forum Administration / Edit Forum Tree / click Create new category
I get this: Pic1
Now I go back to the 'Edit forum tree'
I get this: Pic2
I now click on the + to add a forum
I get this: Pic3
There is nowhere to add text for a forum. Am I missing something?
I've used FF and IE to try adding, and I also cleared the cache in IE, FF, and in the pnTemp folder.

IE and FF, testing java on their test java version page, it tells me what version of java is installed, and displays java demos. Are you talking about my browsers or Zikula being Java enabled? -

I thought your problems depends on 'javascript' within your browsers, but this is impossible, because IMHO without 'javascript' you wouldn't able to create a new forum category !
What about your Ajax settings ? Standard is 5 seconds !

All the settings seem good. I tried it on a freash install of 1.2.3 and the same thing is happening. I'll wait for the next bug fix to give it another try.
