I was wondering if the web_links extension was still being developed by Petzi-Juist? It doesn't look like there has been much activity in a while. I was wondering if it was worth the while putting in feature requests and bugs? Does the updating to the latest Zikula requirement (getext support etc.) affect its use in future versions of Zikula?
I make extensive use of this module on one of my sites http://www.EarlyMusicNews.org (almost 2000 weblinks) (I know the theme is ugly ... but still functional) and it would be great if some of the glitches were ironed out and maybe add some enhancements.
Sorry, I am a horrible programmer otherwise I would lend a hand with this module. IMHO, this extension would be a great extension to keep up to date for the Zikula suite.

Yes, it is.
I may speak on the behalf of the original author Petzi-Juist as I asked exactly the same question here in the German support forums a few weeks earlier - and he confirmed the ongoing development.
So we just have to be a little more patient.

Hi Sascha:
Thanks for the update. It is great that he is still working on the module. I went to the German support forum and read the thread. I'll try to leave him a note.
Cheers Marc
