During a first test with a build of zikula 1.3.0 I get aware that Mediashare will not run anymore. Do I ride a wrong horse on my current project by using Mediashare?
What will be the alternative?

I've asked the same thing and heard nothing, I thought it was one of the modules we submitted to be converted back when Drak was doing that, but I could be wrong. SimpleGallery isn't as robust, but adequate to all the needs I've got for such a module, and based on commit notes, the SVN is Gettexted at least. Not sure on where it stands on a release.

Drak just told in a wave he will not touch this module. I only can hope someone needs it and will convert it to gettext.
We will have no robust solution to store media for 1.3.0

It is not just a simple conversion. The module needs a complete code- and template facelift.
Some time ago Mateo and I had made some changes. But for now other modules are much more important. After Polls 2.1.0 came out a few days ago, I am now busy with Advanced_Polls.
