I don't know if it can, but check the Zikula Recovery Console (ZRC) and see if it can fix the issue.

Someone with Admin access to MultiHook needs to fix the URL for the ZRC.

do you have access directly to the database (via something like phpMyAdmin) and to the filesystem (ftp/ssh...etc)
i would check to make sure the modules folder exists, should be system/modules
then i would check the database in phpMyAdmin (or similar) and go to the modules table, find the entry for modules and make sure everything there looks right (make sure its state is active and stuff). -

yes i have systems/modules folder and access to phpMyAdmin and i looked and I have a table called pn_modules. and i just checked and the profile module is not available either.
I also ran Zikula Recovery Console. It showed systems/modules as upgraded, but not active like all the othe system modules. Is there a way to make modules active? because it is not in the right state. here's a screenshot of what it looks like when i run the recovery console.

well... not advisable to do so but in phpMyAdmin you can edit the modules table and force its state to active. -
