When upgrading from 1.1 to 1.2.2 I get the message that the Profile module is missing in the modules dir. BUT it is present in the modules dir.
What is going wrong?
I had to make this upgrade because my host without warning upgraded to PHP 5.3.x and I get this split() is deprecated message. Maybe there is a workaround to that issue instead of upgrading a site that was working perfectly.

Well, it's better to stay current, otherwise you end up with major headaches later trying to catch up. I did also see this problem earlier on a site I'm working on upgrading, I had something about how to solve it, but I haven't been able to find it yet.

Download and install the Medicula module - it will help you solving such problems.

Yeah, but it won't upgrade with it missing. The problem is in the upgrade routine, and needs to be solved Seems like this was a known issue early on and a fix was addressed.
