where do i put the translation for plugin name ?
i have to edit manually the pot file to add an entry in it ?

Yes, you have to edit the pot file. After that you can synchronize the po file with the pot file and translate the new entry. After saving the po file, the mo file will be updated with the new translation and have to be uploaded (at least).
