It seems you have the same issue that I did, but Arthens solution worked for me.
I suppose you could log a ticket, but be sure to include everything you did and all pertinent infoz...

After deleting the language files I received an error about a missing module 'thumbnail'. After installing the module, everything is OK.

Please try to update the Thumbnail module. AFAIK: We had a "typo" in this file a few month ago. -
