what is a systeminit hook?  Bottom

  • What is a systeminit hook and what does it do and when does it do it?
  • A system init hook is a hook that is called by the core immediately after pnInit completes. If you look in pnAPI you'll see where they are called. Unlike module hooks, a system init hook is called every single page-load.

  • What does it do?
Let the modules to "hook" the system initialization to do some stuff, as scribite! does adding the editor's scripts and configuration when needed.
