  May be block is original users online...
  Chat Block create position is how?

  
  The block position is "left" but I use it as an embedded block with "Content" and it shows "Online Users: This is nobody!" but there are users online

  Even after refreshing it does not show online users. Is that different on your site? Do you have a demo?

  Possibly your Session does not have in the database?
  could you see zikula database in session_info!!

  I have copied the link within the chat block that opens a chat into the membersonline block of the Profile module and now it works
