Getting third party modules into the Cozi.
In the good old days there was a site where you could register projects for postnuke. The new system is very nice to work with from a user perspective and extremely powerful. However, I cannot figure out how to get some of my modules added to the Cozi. Is that the preferred approach? Is there a better one?

Contact drak at zikula dot org, or chris at zikula dot org, and do not forget to tell us your Cozi user name, together with the module name(s). We can also import existing SVN from other servers if needed. Usually we set you up in a couple of minutes after we are aware of your request.
Feel free to approach me with any questions you might have about the Cozi.
Greetings,
Chris

My modules would probably be better suited in the extdb, because they are not core to zikula, but add ons. The major one I have developed and use is the Book module. I am also working on a hook module that will allow enabled modules to attach quizzes to the end of a page. Where so would the zikula team like me to add them? -

The Cozi is also for third party development and is useful especially if you use SVN for development. take a look at the list of projects there and you can see that there are MANY non-core projects.
but, I don't think you understand that you can use either or both of these. I use both - Cozi for development and organization and the extdb simply for posting releases. The extdb is useful because users can download just your module or your module in combination with others (and the core). -

Yes, let me be clear. The Cozi is a development service we provide for free - you get version control a tracker and rss feeds.
The extdb (extensions database) is the place to publish Zikula modules for download by Zikula user - it is not for PN modules. PN is a separate project which has long since been deprecated. Submissions are moderated.

Drak

I long since said goodbye to postnuke. That was a great start, but zikula is a far better CMS.
So my next step is SVN check in of the code. I have switched over to NetBeans and was wondering what are the details for checking in code to the Cozi using NetBeans.
