View Images and note the path in the URL bar, replace that image in the file system. Tho I would recommend copying the theme and changing it's name so that you don't overwrite the image in an upgrade.

Well, as I said, first step is to create a new theme from Andreas09, to do that you need to copy Andreas09 to a new folder say 'mytheme' and edit the version.php file and language files for it to reflect the new name.
Tho looking at the file on my computer, you may not find it as easy as you're hoping because that's not a header image, it's a full page background image. If you want to start playing with themes, I recommend you use Firefox, if you're not using it already, and the Firebug extension. Helps find stuff.

I'd have to upload it to my system and look at it, but the basic layout, like most of the standardly available themes, is a simple 3 column layout. What is it about that particular one you like so much?

The main thing I like is that the width expands to fill the entire screen where as the others I saw had the centre/main column as a fixed width. All I am really after is to have an image in the header, be able to flash a banner in the header, and have three columns where the centre part is the main part displaying news articles and the forum. Also want to be able to have blocks left and right of the main column.
