I know there is a way to do this, and I know this is a stupid question, but how can I make a contact us form for a zikula site. I really don't want to write a module just for this. My guess is that people will suggest Formicula, but I cannot figure out how to get a download for a 1.0.2 site. I cannot upgrade zikula at the moment because the site is running an old version of PHP.
I really think the download wizard is cool, but it makes it a pain to grab a module you are looking for. Also, how does one get authorization to submit modules to the Cozi?

You might give this a try:
http://zikula.at/arc…/modules/vpContact/
Either vpContact or TBContact. I'm sure one or both of them worked with 1.0.2, its a while since I used them. I'll have to try them in 1.2.1 too when I get time.
Ahh. vpContact is linked to the extdb version now I've typed it in. Try that.

Thanks Denis. I will give that a whirl. What I would really like to do is upgrade my site to 1.2 and use Formicula, but alas I am at the mercy of my ISP for now. If he does not get on the stick this summer, I will migrate to a new ISP. PHP 4 is over 4 years old! -

Paustian, I would suggest just changing hosting providers now. He's behind now, even if he updates tomorrow, who's to say he doesn't sit on it later.

Please do not use vpContact any more! It is not maintained, supported, or developed any more since years. Contact formulars are quite security sensitive, and no one is patching security fixes any more for this module.
I strongly recommend Formicula instead.
Greetings,
Chris

I will probably change hosting providers, but this is a local guy who has done a really good job for me and what I need. I am playing with Formicula, but right now it won't work with my 1.0.2 site. It is in the heat of the semester, so I don't want to mess too much with the commercial site, since students are using it. I will heavily investigate this when May comes however. Thanks for all the advice. -

I was able to get Formicula working very easily. What a nice piece of code. Yet again validation that I made a great choice when I decided to vend my on line books using zikula as the CMS! Thanks guys.
