Hi
Is it possible to use Content as the start page for a site please? If so, what are the parameters. The page details in the address bar are index.php?module=content&func=view&pid=1.
In my settings start function type is set to user.
I have tried using view, pubview and display for the start function
I have tried both pageid=1 and pid=1 for the start function arguments.
Whatever combination I use, Zikula returns an error - either that there is something wrong with wjat I have entered or that the page cannot be found.
My content page contains 2 items : static page text and a news listing
Any help would be great

I'm logged in as an administrator so there shouldn't be any problem. I can read the page within Content.... I just don't seem to be able to show it as the start page. -

Go to System > Configuration > Start page settings
I believe the settings have to be:
Start module = content
Start function type = user
Start function = view
Start function arguments = pid=1

I find it useful to navigate (as anonymous guest) to the page I want as entry page and copy the URL. The specifics can be confusing and are not always intuitive. Pages, for example, is Static Pages in the dropdown. And some modules use view and some use display. Some use pid and some use pageid. Easier to look first and try only once. I added this to the documentation under Settings -> Owner Settings.
