Hi, I have a new install of Zikula 1.2 with News 2.4. My issue is that I am not able to delete any articles. It appears to work but I do not get a confirmation and the status is not changed. I'm stuck, any suggestions?

Hi,
that is weird behaviour. I have not heard of any people having the same issue with news. Do you have caching enabled (theme caching in particular?) Do you also see the articles still in the list if you go to the admin articles overview (index.php?module=News&type=admin&func=view)?
BTW there is the 2.4.1 version of News as well. That should not make a difference in this part, but just to let you know.

Thanks for the fast response!
I need to revise this a bit. The system will delete the record but it will not allow me to change the publishing status. Sorry about that. I pulled records from an old PostNuke install and revised the records on a spreadsheet then uploaded them into Zikula. Everything seems to work fine except for the status change. I also noticed that the punctuation became messed up but I have been correcting that as I go. I will look into this more when I can.
I will check the cache on Sunday, first opportunity, and get back with you. I am wondering if the upload messed something up but i cant think of what. It may be possible to backup the data and reinstall News see if it works and upload the data again. I would rather not deal with the punctuation issues again if I can avoid it.
