After regenerating Pages 2.4 it doesn't wipe the categories list but it does wipe all the articles inside all the categories :(
Is there a solution to this problem?
Solved: Need to add them back in the categories module...

If this is really a bug, then please file a ticket.

I'm not sure it's a bug. They were all in Categories prior to the update and after regenerating they had to be manually added back. The previous Pages version, was 2.3. -
