MediaAttach would be especially useful for me in a web site I'm working on if it could handle more than one type of definitiion per module. For example, one definition to handle inline images displayed in the lightbox-type view, and another definition to handle uploads of documents like Office files.
Has anyone tried this? I would imagine it would involve some serious hacks of some sort...

I guess a basic approach for you can be to overwrite pndefinitionapi in your config folder in order to hook into getdefinition function.
Please create according feature request for reference also.
