Hey all...
So I was looking at an old site I built and I noticed that I had used pnModSetVar quite a bit to set temporary variables... Yeah, it worked but the ModVars table is HUGE and filled with expired and erroneous data...
I know, noob mistake...whoops.
I want to correct it but I'm not exactly sure how to do so... the variables are from Pagesetter and are little more than pid, and tid's and a few others... I need them to be accessible by the logged in user but they don't need to be permanent... (the variables need to be accessible to other modules but are only temporary...)
Would I be better off suing pnSessionSetVar or what...? An can I simply purge them without causing major problems... ?
THanks!

Well, be cause when purging those, and not delete a native PS var...
and yes, use SessionUtil::setVar and getVar for user's temporary data
