error: Call to undefined function mb_regex_encoding()  Bottom

    I had a local copy and wanted to upload it online

    after uploading/creating DB ..etc I got this error

    looking into the pnAPI I found it has something to do with UTF8

    I did double check on the database and config.php and everything seems correct

    I dunno why its not working, any help would be greatly appreciated

    Multi-byte functions are required to Zikula to work
    and PHP must have them to work with it...

    I had to recompile apache to get it work, I believe this might be a problem for some other users as apache doesnt compile PHP by default with mbstring.

    Anyway. thanks mateo ! you saved my day
