Yeah, I noticed the community site was MUCH faster so I went snooping in administration and looky here:

Ditto. The sites I have upgraded thus far both have caching OFF and force recompilation of templates ON and the difference in speed is like night and day... -

As expected the upgrade from a few older distributions went very fine and indeed... there's for sure a speed increase!
