  I am very new to Zikula. I have installed PostCalendar. When I add a new event I get the following error. Is there something I forgot to do? Thanks

  I have taken a look at my database and of course like it says I do not have the zk_topics table. But I am not real sure when that should have been added.

  When you're new to Zikula you should really switch to TimeIt or crpCalendar (IMHO).
  Those are a much newer applications, and fully integrated into Zikula.
  PostCalendar (an older Postnuke module) has been adapted to make it work in Zikula, but is not that up to date with Zikula as the others. It is great that for upgraders the module is still being updated, but for a new user I wouldn't advice it.
  The error message is because PostCalendar still needs the old Postnuke Topics module that has been replaced by the Categories system in Zikula.

  I disagree.
  
  the PostCalendar module is under active development and is a high-quality module for Zikula.
  
  at the moment, PostCalendar requires the legacy Topics module, but in the future this will not be required. The topics module is available at the extdb.
  
  while TimeIt is also a high-quality module, I am not familiar with crpCalendar. TimeIt requires php5, which PostCalendar does not. You should test all three and see which you like the best.

  TimeIt only requires php5 in the latest version, the previous version works fine in php4.
  But I agree that PostCalendar is an alternative.
  
  I shouldn't judge too easy PostCalendar was/is always a great module.
