Now the MultiZK module has become multisites module. I explain you in case you want to check out the files of the project.
The module is in an advanced state of development. Unfortunately these days I'm not having the time necessary to finish it. Anyway the module is operative in some aspects. For instance we are using this module (with little changes in the sites upgrade) in a installation of 850 Zikula sites without problems.
