Hello,
I don't know if someone knows the answer, but is there any will to have single sign-on supported under Zikula ?
I have heard about layers like CAS or shibboleth that could be added to the Authentication module.
Or maybe the Authentication module developers have something different in mind ?
Thanks for your reply,
Philippe

Sorry dits, I didn't read your post before, I have search for "CAS" but still don't find any occurrence ... is there a minimum of character to do a search on forum ?
Anyway, I will probably be interested having such kind of authentication module, but I am still looking around all the possibilities. And I need to try LDAP authentication first.
Thanks for your reply, read you soon for sure,

I also tried the search first without success. Strange
.
I use LDAP on a .764 system and it works just fine. I specifically looked into CAS (which can also use LDAP at the back) to achieve SSO. Will keep you posted if there is any development. -

I'd be happy with a simple facebook login. That monkey fellow took my money and disappeared. I will never learn. -

Wendell
Have you done anything with this? If not, what would it cost?
No I haven't. The main purpose at the time was having SSO between Zikula and KnowledgeTree. In stead I created a custom module that retrieves documents from KT and serves them as if they were coming from Zikula. A CAS module would still be nice. I unfortunately don't have the time to look into it now. If someone else would I would be happy to do testing and help out where I can. -

I'm starting to think a third-party solution with a Zikula plugin might be the way to go. Why reinvent the wheel?

This JanRain Engage product looks pretty nice. All we need is a Zikula plugin for it. *hint hint*
