Is module studio still alive ?  Bottom

    hello,
    As some may remember I have been far away from Zikula/PN developpment for 3 years.
    I am now ready to resume my work and update some old module to new standards and to create some new ones.
    This will also allow me to move my website to Zikula icon_wink
    Looking at ModuleStudio I see that linux version is more than 1 year old and that despite the "other platforms follow soon, sorry" windows version is even older.
    Is this wonderfull idea dead ?
    I need to know what current plans for ModuleStudio are before deciding on what I will use for developpment.

    Hi Jean-Michel! Great to see you back around. I have no news on Module Studio, but I wanted to welcome you back.

    I can't speak for Axel, but I think he's just a really busy dude. icon_smile (a good problem to have)

    I'm sure it's not dead. It is a little behind for Windows users, but I am thinking about installing some flavor of Linux on an old laptop to play with the latest ModuleStudio.

    I have seen relatively recent module releases that, when installed, say something like, "built with ModuleStudio" at the bottom in the admin area.

    I must confess
    that when i checked the Zikula 2.0 code (in progress) i got into a dilemma about my developments...
    2.0 stuff has that grat potential and clean O.O. that i prefer to push its development instead build 1.x apps (by now)...

    Axel said too; his ideal order is to get 2.0, then finish ModuleStudio, then build apps, but bussiness doesn't wait, so he's busy programming...

    Is great to have you with us again Michel
    and if you want, would be cool if you join us in the 2.0 branch.
    The installer is running, now we need to get the modules to work properly.
