If I wanted to have a static home page and not select a startup module, where do I tell Zikula what page to load? -

YOu could probably use the Pages module to do that. Create the page in Pages, then change the setting in the Settings mod to point to the appropriate page. -

I tried the Pages Module, but it puts the creation date and the last modified date at the top of the page. All I want to do is put up a page that describes our product and has a picture. I have not figured out how to do that. I just need a plain web page in the core of the template. I tried modifying the theme but then the core displays all of that information on every page. I just want a static home page. Can Zikula do that? -

I see that each page that you define has options to show the statistics, etc. I was able to suppress the extra information. Thanks. -

you could also use template overrides to modify the content from Pages if necessary.
