Hello all,
Does anyone know of any plugin or code to create an iCal file from a pnRender item such as a news article or Pagesetter publication...
Before I go coding I just want to ensure I'm not reinventing the wheel...
Ideally- a plugin that produces a link to a file (template) that will be populated with the appropriate info from the publication/news item when clicked... catch is that the file has to have the .ics extention...
Any leads?
Thanks

From looking at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ICalendar, it doesn't look terribly difficult.
Using that mod_rewrite crap is too hard for me though. -

I guess i saw somewhere the iCal theme.
There you can have some custom templates to generate the special output as the RSS/Atom themes

I guess i saw somewhere the iCal theme.
TimeIt 1.1.6 includes a iCal Theme.
But it is not very easy to create a template for the iCal theme because you must consider that lines must end with CRLF, no blank lines and lines should not longer than 75 chars (see http://tools.ietf.or…rfc2445#section-4.1).
There are also libraries which can create .ics files. One great library is the iCalcreator library. I use this library in TimeIt 2.0.
