Scribite xinha/mediaattach plugin  Bottom

  • I'm testing this out to see how it works. I have scribite installed and xinha selected, and the MediaAttach plugin enabled. This works well for selecting and embedding files uploaded previously, but I don't see how to complete an upload from scribite itself.

For both uploads and videos, I get a complete functional form for entering the information and can submit it. But what after that? The MediaAttach confirms or displays the item, but there's nowhere to "finish" the form. The only way to close the dialog is with the window close control. Even when you are selecting an existing upload, you must double click the item to close the window. Looks like something's missing here(?).
  • OK, I've updated from SVN and uploading attachments work. But video doesn't.

This is in the Pages module, BTW.
  • Make sure you are using the correct display hook (needle functionality). With MA there is the options between MEDIAATACHP-$id or MEDIAATACHI-$id, or physical or inline display.

  • Hi all,
I am trying to test MediaAttach(rev.210) with Dizkus and Xinha without success. It seems that MediaAttach is never hooked or included.
    When you talk about:

    Quote

    MediaAttach plugin enabled.

How do you do that ?
    Thanks for your help,
    Philippe
  • Dear all,
Help still needed with MediaAttach. I have activated the plugin in Xinha, but I see nowhere to upload a file.
    How can I upload a file ?
One more thing, in the admin panel of MediaAttach when I follow the links "Admin Uploads" or User Uploads" or "Definitions", ... the same admin main page is loaded.
What do you think it is going wrong ?
I have tried 2 different releases with no better result icon_confused
    Thanks for your help,
    Philippe
  • Dear all,
OK problem found, ouf. Even if "MediaAttach" says "Everything allright" for the cache and upload folders I have finally placed the directories under the Zikula root dir and used an absolute path from there too.
    See bug report #54.
Upload from Dizkus work now just fine.
One more question, can we have a simple upload page?
    Thanks,
    Philippe
