How to add pages to the wiki  Bottom

  • I have gone through the module authoring pages that are there and now want to add some pages that walk a new user from initial design of a module, to table creation, writing the user and admin functions etc. Problem is, there is no create page button in the Wiki that I can find. Do I need special permission? I am a user, and it will allow me to edit, just not create pages.

    Thanks

  • You can just create a link to a non existing Wiki page (it will display with a question mark) and when you click you will be asked if you want to create a new page. At least that worked for me when I have created some pages in the Wiki.

  • Exactly - first create the link to your new page on an existing page (wherever you find it appropriate), then click on it to create the page. This is intended, it makes sure that all pages are linked and not orphaned.

Additionally, the Wikula admin can create pages via the backend.

  • Got it. Thanks guys. Is this documented anywhere. It might be worth putting somewhere obvious.
