group module doesn't see all the user  Bottom

  • When I try to insert a user to a group, it doesn't show some user,
for example under the "L" letter there is me (Lordevol) and other 5 user, but not the user "Penelope" :(

In the user module penelope is on the list and she has no problem during login o in pnphpbb forum,

Maybe an upgrade Error? Or is there a known bug? Or how can I insert her manually?
  • ummm - try checking under "P" for Penelope...
  • ahha, I'm sorry :)
    Change the example,

Under the "P" I found "Patrick" and other people but non "pelnelope"

Is it a bug? Am I the Only one with this problem? COuld it be a upgrade error?

PS I'm sorry for the mistake
  • Sorry. Are you saying that Penelope is not available to the group admin or in the PNphpBB admin? If it is only the PNphpBB admin, she may need to interact with the BB module firstly.

  • I enter in the group module inside the zikula admin panel.
I create a new group, I try to "add user to group" but "penelope" is not in the list.
If I check in the user module (zikula admin) penelope is on the list.

The problem seems to be in the group module (zikula 1.1.1), it doesn't not see all the user :(

PS When I upgraded to zikula 1.1.1 index.php?module=Profile&func=viewmembers stop to work too :(

  • I cannot reproduce this. I will take a look, if you like.

  • How can we make?
  • I'm having this same problem. I upgraded from 0.764 to 1.1.1, and most of my users are not accessible if I want to add them to groups.

The only commonality that I've been able to find is that the people who show up in the list are people who have some actual profile data filled out in the "nuke_user_data" table. When I upgraded, there was no carrying over of profile data from the old setup to the new, and so all profile data was lost -- is that intentional? And that also appears to give the unintended side-affect that those people who have not since updated their profile, don't have any data in the DB, and so it's not grabbing them in the query (probably just a bad query that should be an outer join). That's my guess at this point.
  • Thank you very much! I confirm that if the profile fields are complete the user appears in the group insert option.

So it's a group module bug
  • is there a way to make user see the list of the user in a specific group?
  • 0 users
