Hey All
here a finished work, i'll explain the main sections of the site:

www.censat.org

* Campaigns:
A pagemaster pubtype, with a news category to relate articles with each campaign.
* Publications:
Another pagemaster pubtype, with a database of their publications.
* Bulletins
The last pubtype with a custom plugin to list articles (News) and publications (2 pubtype) in a monthly bulletin.
* News articles
News 2.4 SVN supporting articles wrote by many other organizations and sources, with 3 categories and an 'author' attribute as additional field for the articles.
* Virtual library
MediaAttach with a custom template set to store PDFs and their documents, 2 categories to order this one.
* Working Areas
Content supporting the easy management and edition of their working areas information
* Gallery
mGallery2 working there for the image gallery
* Forums
Dizkus will support their discussions.

Menutree for the vertical drop-down menu at the left based on the CSSplay flyout style (thanks Erik), HTML block for image links and a custom block for the mailinglist subscription form., and the set of permissions to have writers, editors, show the respective links on the user menu, etc.

Ah, and almost forgot to mention that the homepage slider is supported by LiveTabs (non-released but @SVN).

BlankTheme based theme porting the design that a designer made,

Nice work. Good looking site (nice "earthy" coloring ). Of course a nice show of the possibilities of Zikula and the various modules. pagemaster, content, SVN news , menutree all in there and great use of BlankTheme of course

Nice to see that mGallery2 is also working. I'm now using smugmug for my Track&Field site, but thinking of switching provider (to one with more disk space) and going for gallery2 again.

Related News is also something that could be built into News BTW. Showing related news in the same category and maybe with the use of attributes add some external links for a category as well. (Like the related links in PN )

and dits, thank you SO much for pointing out the XHTML validator, i've forgot my good old friend and now the markup is fixed

I also forgot to mention that i doubt that another software could accomplish this work! this needed the flexible architecture and the relations between modules a lot.

MediaAttach let them attach documents to Content and News articles, and list them in a specific category of the library if desired. MultiHook let use them inline in the content, and also allow to use a mGallery2's minislideshow needle that i've implemented and is in the SVN.

A custom PageMaster plugin (a little complicated in code but with a fancy edit interface) let us to list News and Publications into that monthly bulletin, that was built manually before Zikula.

And the safe-customization (inside config and themes) let to the new admin of the site to take the control of the upgrades without major worries.

Mateo - the minislideshow needle for MultiHook sounds really useful for a project I'm working on. Can you point me to where I might find it in SVN?

It's still not finished (i manage some things with Firebug ) but you can play with it. It's a block using a module as container (as menutree) to build some cool custom stuff if needed.

I was exited to see you had worked on mGallery2, is the link you provided correct?

I tried that and don't see anything new.

I've been using the trunk of the SVN located at
https://code.zikula.org/svn/mgallery2
and that SVN stops at revision 87 on Oct. 29, 2009.

I've been using mGallery2 and it's tranform hooks in many versions of Postnuke/Zikula and the transform hooks have stopped working with Zikula 1.2 so I would love to have some working needles.

Also I forgot to mention that you site is really impressive, I never considered using Menutree with that type menu, very nice.

You've arranged a lot of info on the home page without making it look too busy or crowded.

Pagemaster is a powerful module that I'm anxious to start using with the new version. I've used Pagesetter in the past but only for simple lists and uploads.

Only two items I see that could be a problem.

The header image with the tree and people is a flash file. Since I use Firefox with flash turned off I first thought that the page was simply way down the page since there was a lot of blank space, at least I didn't get the big (You Need to Upgrade Your Browser) warning that appears on many flash pages. Couldn't this header be produced easily with a simple .gif image? Even the flying bird could be an animated .gif, just a thought.

You seem to have an extra tag (on line 690 when I view source in Firefox) on the home page.

Dizkus threw a bunch of errors when I tried to quote the line.

Anyway, congratulations on the site I'm sure the organization is really happy with it. I'm glad you have time to get your work done while spending so much time on the Zikula project!
