Just updated to Zikula 1.1.1
and added the Scribite 3.1
All of the admin controls are visible in 3rdParty/Scribite..
And I have chosen TinyMCE for all modules.
When I try to create a 'News' article there are no 'scribite' controls.
I have actuall tried all of the editeors..xina,nicedit,. and none show up working.
I have ModSecurity running..could that be affecting it?

From http://code.zikula.o…e/wiki/Installation the only possible issue I can see is clearing caches. Did you do that? -

Yes, i tried that.
Layout-Theme-Settings
did 'Delete compiled templates and
did 'Delete cached templates'
even tried adding the tag to the theme templates.
although this is not required with Scribite 3.x
Note: I used the upgrade from Zikula 1.0.2 to current Zikula 1.1.1

Layout-Theme-Settings
did 'Delete compiled templates and
did 'Delete cached templates'
Please try this also in Layout-pnRender
As per documentation for the versions you use adding scribite plugin in templates is no longer required. -

I haven't got a similar installation to test here now. Perhaps Sven, Mateo, or anyone else can jump in?
You don't happen to have any of this online? -

Hi there,
i think the clearing of the compiled templates isn't needed anymore since the plugin is not called from theme templates ...
But i can't reproduce this error. All of my 1.1.x sites work fine with scribite! 3.1.
The only issue that causes errors with scribite! is PageLock module. Deactivate the PageLock module and try again.
Ticket for PageLock is here: http://code.zikula.org/core/ticket/930
Greetings
Sven

I just backed up htdocs and dropped in fresh install of Zikula.
All is working good now.
I did not get to any configuring of previous install (without scribite)
So this works fine.
Thank you for your fast / and helpful responses.
(I probably had somthing wrong with previous install, as scribite was not working there either)
